Argentina finished their World Cup 2026 group stage in measured fashion, beating Jordan 3-1 under a clear, warm night at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The result was rarely in doubt. Argentina had 73% possession, 122 attacks to Jordan's 61, and an expected goals (xG, a measure of chance quality) figure of 2.14 against 0.74. Jordan's reply, when it came, was a fine one, but the margin reflected the run of play.
